Why socially responsible trading?

We like to say, “because the bad guys are bad investments and nobody’s ever heard of a solar plant meltdown!” Truly, investing in bad actors is killing the planet and taking us all down with them. Wealth inequality is at record highs, while vital human needs are not being met. We believe that investing means thinking about the future and in this case, the triple bottom line including the type of environment we will live in, society we will share and democratic governance.

Our Mission

We need to trade responsibly. The bad guys are bad investments that are not socially responsible on environmental, social or governance grounds and therefore, do not deserve our money. We can connect, learn and improve as better traders and investors using professional learning resources and each other. We can know what we own, why we own it and whether we should own it for a sustainable future. We can even help move socially responsible money off of Wall Street into Main Streets by supporting specific corporate campaigns, making alternative investments in sustainable businesses, and seeking creative ways to put the green back into money.
